Privacy Policy Last updated: October 16, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how Paw of Joy Inc. ("RIXOKIN," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit rixokin.com, buy from us, use the RIXOKIN app or Smart Spoon, or contact us. 1. Information we collect Information you provide: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number (if provided), order details, messages to customer support, reviews, giveaway entries, and information about your dog that you choose to share, such as weight or breed. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers; we don't store full card numbers. Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, and how you interact with the site and our emails. We collect this through cookies, pixels and similar technologies. App and Smart Spoon information: If you use the RIXOKIN app, we collect information you provide and usage data such as dose tracking. 2. How we use information We use personal information to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, operate the app and Smart Spoon features, run promotions and giveaways, send marketing emails and text messages if you've opted in, improve our site and products, measure and personalize advertising, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. 3. Shopify Our store is hosted on Shopify, which processes personal information on our behalf to power the site, checkout and payments. Cookies, pixels and advertising We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to run the site, understand how it's used and show relevant ads on other sites and platforms. These partners include: - Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Merchant Center). Learn how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. - Meta (the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, for Facebook and Instagram ads). - TikTok (the TikTok Pixel and Events API). - Other service providers, such as e-commerce, analytics, advertising and messaging providers. You can also opt out of personalized ads through Google Ad Settings, the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (https://optout.networkadvertising.org). 5. How we share information We share personal information with service providers who help us run our business, such as e-commerce, payment, shipping, analytics, advertising, customer support and messaging providers; with advertising partners as described above; when required by law or to protect our rights; and in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business. We do not sell personal information for money. Under some state laws, sharing data with advertising partners through pixels may be considered a "sale" or "sharing"; see Section 9. 6. Marketing communications You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in any email. We'll still send order and service messages. Text messages (SMS). We send marketing text messages only to people who have given express written consent, for example by checking a box or entering their number in a sign-up form. Consent isn't a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. We collect your mobile number and opt-in record (date, time and method of consent) to send texts and keep records of your consent. We don't sell, rent or share SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes; it is shared only with the text message platform that delivers our messages on our behalf. 7. Data retention We keep personal information as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it. 8. Security We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. 9. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA) If you're a California resident, you have the right to: - Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and share, and access a copy of it. - Delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to legal exceptions. - Correct inaccurate personal information. - Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. - Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we don't use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right). - Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Categories collected in the past 12 months: identifiers (name, email, address, IP address); commercial information (purchase history); internet or network activity (browsing and interaction data); approximate geolocation; and inferences drawn for marketing. Sources: you, your devices, and our service providers and advertising partners. We disclose these categories to service providers for business purposes, and identifiers and internet activity to advertising partners (Google, Meta, TikTok) for cross-context behavioral advertising, which may be considered "sharing" under California law. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email info@rixokin.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." We will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as required by applicable law. We'll verify your request by matching information you provide with our records. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of your permission. We respond within 45 days, as required by law. 10. Other U.S. state privacy rights Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws may have similar rights, such as access, deletion, correction and opting out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email info@rixokin.com. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email. 11. Children's privacy Our site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it. 12. Changes We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any changes. 13.
